Joseph Eid started "Habillements Joseph Eid" in 1946 and was specialized in tailor-made confections for men's clothing. Joseph Eid was a pioneer in the clothing industry by being the first to create the concept of shop-in-shop with his locations becoming mini-malls. Joseph Dimitri Eid created an empire stretching from Beirut to the four corners of Lebanon and his legacy still lives on.
Antoine Eid took charge of the company in 1990 and continued to grow and innovate the men's fashion sector in Lebanon as one of the pillars of the Lebanese economy. Under his leadership, Joseph Eid & Co were the first to launch credit cards and their own magazine "Joseph". After the country's downturn, Antoine Eid decided to go back to basics and refocus on the made to measure while keeping an eye on up and coming brands that can embellish men's wardrobes.
